The Cruise To Newport Rhode Island, Cadillac
Allante Meet, sponsored by the Cadillac Allante
Club took place August 23-26.
Representing our club, at this event were Steve & Adrienne Krieger (1989 Red Allante), Ken
& Sandi Kanner (1990 Pearl White Allante), Hal & Dolores Morch (non Allante) and Maria &
myself with our 1991 Red Allante. Our group only attended this event for the weekend,
arriving on Friday afternoon in Newport. We enjoyed dinner at a Seafood Restaurant Friday
night by the water with other event participants. Saturday morning was the day of the Car
Show. This show took place at Colt State Park, located 20 minutes from the hotel. There
were 29 Allantes in attendance. Being Hal did not have a Allante, he decided to take women
sight seeing and shopping.
At the Car Show, the cars were judged by 3- judges, one was a CLC Member. During the
show, lunch was supplied by the Allante Club.
