On Sunday, January 28th, our club along with The L.I. GTO Club hosted the 2007 Annual
President's Council Meeting at our VFW meeting hall in Levittown. Representatives from
over 60 Long Island and N.Y.C. car clubs attended. During this meeting, car clubs submitted
the dates for their planned car shows and events for 2007. Some club then rescheduled
their shows and events dates, so there was no conflict with another club's show/event date
in the same area, on the same day. We also discussed the matter pertaining to the use of
club cars for commercial use, such as in motion pictures and also other topics. Coffee and
bagels were served prior to the start of the meeting. Thanks to our Club's Secretary Of
Membership Steve Krieger, 17 dozen of bagels were donated by "All Ways Bagels" of
Ronkonkoma. During the break, the VFW Post sold Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and beverages. In
a few weeks, minutes taken during the meeting, an attendance roster and car shows and
events schedule for 2007 will be sent to all car clubs that attended the meeting. I thank Amy
Perciballi, President of The L.I. GTO Club and her officers for their partnership in making the
meeting a success. A special thank you to our club staff in attendance, Ken Kanner, Steve &
