Happy Fathers Day
Memory Lane
May was another busy month for our club. On Sunday, May 17th our club participated at
the Spring Dust Off Car Show, sponsored by the LI & NYC Oldsmobile Club. Due to the
low attendance at this show due to inclument weather, only 12 of our club cars were in
attendance. Normally, our club has over 30 club cars in attendance and the organizers
give our club 9 trophies that we award to our members. Due to the weather, I requested
that (12) trophies be given to our club, one trophy for each of our member's cars. We
were given (6) First place and (6) Second place trophies. Now the problem, how do we
award these trophies. I made the decision to award our first (6) cars on the field, 1st place
trophies and the second (6) cars on the field second place trophies. All members were
pleased to receive a trophy. Trophy Winners as follows: 1ST PLACE  - Frank Parise's
1968 Deville, Matt D'Agostino's 1989 Allante, Bill Estes's 1990 Brougham, my 1993
Allante, Artie Koestner's 1994 Concours and Steve Ziselman's 1997 Deville - 2ND
PLACE - John Ledwith's 1939 LaSalle, Steve Krieger's 1989 Allante, Ken Kanner's 1990
Allante, Walter Anderson's 1994 Eldorado Coupe, Joe Marascuillo's 1995

On Monday, May 25th, our club again participated at the Levittown Annual Memorial
Day Parade. A total of (16) club cars participated, and some of our cars transported
veterans during the parade. As a veteran myself, I thank the following members for their
patticipation. Harley Nenzer, Mike Giarratani, Jimmy Muldoon, Steve Ziselman, Sam
Milone, Bill Estes, Steve Krieger, Mike Pisciotta, Ralph Depalma, Sam Sapienza, Larry
