| 2008 The Long Island Metro Region 2008 Annual Holiday Party |
| Our Club's Annual Holiday Banquet Party took place on the evening of January 19th, at the Stuart Thomas Manor Catering facility, located in Farmingdale. This annual event was again a huge success. Over 60 people attended, including club members, family and friends. The sit down dinner was excellent and we danced to the DJ music supplied by DJ Ken Kojak. Our club gave away over 60 door prizes, including door prizes that were purchased by our club,donated by our club members and Service Gift Certificates from some of our Newsletter Advertisers. I thank the club members that donated door prizes and also King Bear, Hicksville and East Coast Hand Car Wash, Levittown for the Gift Certificates. Congratulations to the multi winners of the 50/50 drawing. During the party, a well deserved Awards Plaque was presented to Jeff Kinzler, our club's Newsletter Columnist for his dedication pertaining to the excellent Cadillac and LaSalle related articles that Jeff writes each month for our Newsletter, "The Insider". One of Jeff's article's written about a LaSalle was submitted to the CLC Self Starter last year and that article appeared in a Self Starter issue. With our club's permission, some of Jeff's articles have also been published in other CLC Region's Newsletters. |
