The CLC Grand National in Savannah Georgia, hosted by the CLC Peach State
Region, August 1-4 was a huge success. (words by Fred Miceli)
Our club members in attendance were Ken & Sandi Kanner, Andy & Arlene
Zizolfo, Francene & Henry Flesch, Ralph DePalma, Phil Occhipinti, Richard
Maidman, Joe Scialo, Lou Commisso, his Father-In-law Bob Braun and Maria
and I.
Club cars driven to the GN were Ken Kanner's Allante, my Allante and Francene
Flesch's 1960 Eldorado. Richard Maidman's 1939 Cadillac V16 Fleetwood
Imperial was trailered. While driving to Georgia, Francene Flesch's car rear hub
cap came off the wheel, causing minor damage to the fender shirt, rear fender
and destroying the hub cap. She was able to obtain another hub cap before the
judging.
I'm proud to announce our Region winners.

**First Place in the Primary Class, Francene Flesch's 1960 Eldorado,
**First Place in the Touring Class, Ken Kanner's 1990 Pearl White Allante
**Second Place in the Primary Class, Richard Maidman's 1939 V16 Fleetwood
Imperial.
**I'm also proud to announce that Lou Commisso, our Board Member and
Club's Webmaster was awarded The CLC Web-Site Excellence Award for 2006.
Lou started up our new club's web-site on July 29,2006. Over 21,000 visitors
have visited the site. Lou even started posting Grand National photos on our
club's web-site while in attendance at the 2007 GN, and we were the first Region
to have GN photos posted. Congratulations to all winners.
